Welcome to KatsOnMars. These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the KatsOnMars website, application, accounts, cat profiles, photo uploads, community features, support flows, and related services collectively referred to as the “Service.”

By creating an account, checking the Terms agreement box, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Service.

1. Free Accounts and No User Charges

Creating a KatsOnMars account is free. KatsOnMars does not charge users money to create an account or use the core account features described by the Service.

If paid features are ever introduced, KatsOnMars will provide clear notice and additional terms before charging users. You are not responsible for any paid feature unless you knowingly agree to it.

2. Ad-Supported Service

KatsOnMars is supported by advertising. By using the Service, you understand and agree that ads may be displayed on the website, in the app, or alongside Service content.

Advertising helps keep account creation and core account access free. Ads may be provided directly by KatsOnMars or through third-party advertising partners. Third-party ads, links, offers, websites, or services are controlled by their own terms and policies.

3. Account Registration and Agreement to Terms

You must agree to these Terms before creating an account. You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your login credentials secure, and promptly update information that becomes inaccurate.

You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account. Do not share your password, impersonate another person, create accounts for abusive purposes, or attempt to access another user’s account.

4. Eligibility

KatsOnMars is not intended for children under 13. You may not use or create an account for the Service if you are under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should use the Service only with permission from a parent or guardian.

5. User Content

You may submit cat names, birthdays, bios, photos, captions, posts, feedback, comments, or other content through the Service (“User Content”). You keep ownership of content you submit, but you grant KatsOnMars a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, publish, resize, format, transmit, and otherwise use that User Content as needed to operate, promote, improve, secure, and support the Service.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your User Content and that your User Content does not violate these Terms, another person’s rights, or applicable law.

6. Community Rules

You agree not to use KatsOnMars to:

• Harass, threaten, abuse, bully, defame, or target others
• Upload illegal, hateful, sexually explicit, exploitative, violent, or otherwise harmful content
• Upload content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, privacy rights, publicity rights, or other rights
• Spam, scam, phish, scrape, automate abusive requests, or interfere with Service operation
• Attempt to bypass authentication, authorization, rate limits, security controls, or account restrictions
• Reverse engineer, attack, overload, disrupt, or compromise the website, app, API server, database, or infrastructure
• Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, misleading, or unauthorized purposes

7. Account Suspension, Bans, and Deletion

KatsOnMars may suspend, restrict, delete, or ban your account, remove content, block access, or take other moderation action if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk for users or the Service, infringed rights, broken the law, or abused KatsOnMars features.

We may act with or without prior notice depending on the seriousness of the issue, safety needs, legal obligations, platform integrity, or repeated violations. Account deletion or banning may cause loss of access to saved data, uploaded content, cat profiles, and account features.

8. Service Availability and Changes

KatsOnMars may change, update, limit, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We aim to keep the Service reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or always-available operation.
